Neural Mechanisms of Brain Self-regulation with Brain-Machine Interfaces and Application to Addiction

The aim of this multidisciplinary research proyect was to develop a mechanistic approach to BMIs integrated with novel neurotechnologies, to tackle the scientific, technological and clinical challenges facing the field in order to deliver a paradigm shift in the use of BMIs for the next 10-15 years, and to demonstrate BMI’s clinical efficacy in the treatment of addiction.
